#ARCsAnonymous, State of the ARC

[Meme] State of the ARC #9 I Am On My Phone So Formatting Will Be "FUN"!

Hi everyone! I am currenly on my phone and deep in my knees in VACATION, but I am still here to present you our monthly meme! Fret not and link up. How have you managed your ARC this month?

~ For Those Who Are New To The Meme ~

Anyone is free to participate! Link up anytime during this month and refer to this page as to the rules of what to put in your post and how to link up. The next State of the ARC post is going to be on May 30, so if you can’t make this one, mark it down and plan for the next one!

~ My Current State of the ARC ~

You have NO IDEA how long it took me to fix this up because Infogram apparently does not read support mobile -.- but I did it! And I wish I hadn’t cause despite my progress and non-hauling I still seem to have MORE ARCs xD either I did my calculations wrong, or they are multiplying by mitosis…

State of the ARC #9

~ Bricks Knocked Down ~

Since I’m on the phone… I will not bother with the bricks. Especially because it would be quite a bit of bricks, it seems! These are the ARCs I read. Which is like… A LOT?? I… am surprised too. I picked short ones for Dewey’s, so although I didn’t manage my plan for the readathon, it helped. But six of these I had completed before Dewey’s, so there’s that. The great thing is that I finished a lot of old ARCs!

Real Life Super Heroes Artificial Condition (The Murderbot Diaries #2) Vicious (The Villains #1) The Breedling and the Trickster (The Element Odysseys)
Feathered Serpent, Dark Heart of Sky: Myths of Mexico The Redemption of Marvin Fuster Tess and Tattoos
Zeru The Million

~ Let’s Get Motivated! ~

You KNOW how motivated I am about these ones! I’ve already read the first one, but the second one is still waiting for me, and you could say, I am savoring it! I need just the right kind of mood to start reading that eye candy <3

That’s my ARC April! And how many did you knock off your stack this month? Link up your posts!

I’m Evelina and I try to blog about books that matter, with a bit of fun there too! Disability and equality will be topics you see a lot, but there’s also a lot of scifi, fantasy and… GIFs. I’m also the proud founder of #ARCsAnonymous.

Well done on your reading! That’s a big chunk gone!
I read a lot, but have ended April in a worse place than I started thanks to a NetGalley spree – oops. Severe restrictions in place for May, probably!

Wow! That’s so many ARCs! O_O I have no idea how you even survive with… more than 80?? But you read quite a lot this month, so congrats 😀

HOW DID YOU FINISH SO MANY ARCS IN ONE MONTH?!

Also, I just read the first Murderbot book and it was so much fun – I’m excited to hear how you like the next ones:)

2nd time participating! I love seeing the progress each month – or more like seeing how many more books I get each month…

But congrats on your reading and the book mail!!

The over 80 books scares me. I think that’s where I am going to…

Congrats on all the progress Evelina! How did you like Vicious? I’ve got that and the Shades of Magic trio near the top of my TBR, but I’m procrastinating actually buying copies of them And I would tend to agree with your suspicions—I think ARCs do multiply by mitosis when our backs are turned!

Aah! you did so well on reading this month, i hope my May can be as good as your April 🙂 I really wanna knock a good chunk off. I’m trying so hard to be productive 🙂 youve definitely inspired me

That is a useful and neat chart. You read some good looking books. Ivmat read Featured Serpent, Dark Hearted Sky soon. A few years ago I read Charles Mann’s 1491. It was a superb introduction to Native American civilizations and cultures.

That is such great progress, especially on the older ARCs. April was good for me in terms of completing ARCs, May I am focusing on getting the last few read but also getting those reviews done. Enjoy your vacation 🙂

I have no idea how you did this post from your phone! That would drive me bananas, lol. I thought this would be a fun feature to participate in, but it has also helped me really focus on what I need to read! I feel a sense of accomplishment when I knock something off the list. I’ve decided to do mine on a month-to-month basis, so I can see what books needed to be reviewed by the end of the current month but were left unread. I’ll try to tackle those books over the next month without falling behind… ahhh.… Read more »

I know you only do this feature once a month, but I’ve seen a few people doing it twice a month to update everyone on their progress (in case you were wondering why I stated the obvious when I said I would do mine on a month-to-month basis, lol).

Finally decided to join the meme, even though I don’t have confidence in my ability to get through many, haha. I’ll have to recount my ARCs at some point, I guess. I haven’t acquired many this month, but the number is definitely ticking upward faster than its going down. D:

Congrats on getting through so many ARCs this month lol

Eeesh. That’s a lot of ARCs. I have a few unsolicited ARCs that are past due but I read those when I get to them. The ones I request on NetGalley or via publisher I try to read either right away or around the release date. I have been pulling way back on requesting or accepting ARCs since I have so many personal books to catch up on. It looks like you were able to get quite a bit of reading in already though. Good luck tackling your review pile. 😉

Aaaah! This is some awesome progress!! I love reading these state of the ARC posts, I find them weirdly motivational to read more even though I don’t really have enough ARCs to take part in this, it just makes me want to read

Great job! I still have arcs to read that were due a year ago, I feel so horrible that I still haven’t read them. Maybe I should join up next time, to get some of them read!

Oh wow, they’re definately multiplying !!

I would participate but eeerh.. I only got 2 from review requests and 1 open read from NetGalley right now; which I don’t wanna touch until thoses are over xD

Some months the books do tend to multiply. I kind of had one of those months myself. Hopefully, we can both make a big dent in May although I know my reading will be down for the month. I need to focus on not adding to the pile!

You read a lot of ARCs this month! Congratulations!!!! *_*

Wow that’s awesome that you’ve caught up on some ARCs! I have so many it’s not even funny, and the March releases just went up on NetGalley. *sigh* It’s a vicious cycle.

Oh wow, you had an amazing ARC month, I can see 🙂 I am skipping this month’s Stat of the ARC because I don’t think that I have enough to show and also, my numbers are increased. But hopefully next month 🙂
And you are killing you unread pile. What a huge progress. So proud of you.

Great job with your accomplishments. This is really shaping up to be an exercise in futility for me, but one of these days I’ll figure out how to whittle my list down some.
